Leather and Osmanthus in the Heart Apricot, leather and Chinese osmanthus build the heart — leather is the surprise here, giving a fruity opening a genuinely unusual, slightly smoky turn.
Cypriol and Smoke to Close Woody notes, cypriol oil (nagarmotha) and smoke finish things off, dry and resinous, a long way from where the cherry-and-apricot opening started.
If you like the idea of a "cherry" fragrance but find most of them one-dimensionally sweet, this is the more complex, smokier alternative worth trying first.
